Christine Gerwin / Nina Opgen-Rhein, Tagungsbericht: Vormoderne Organisationen: Anfänge, Funktionen, Folgen, In: H-Soz-Kult, 16.08.2023.

Abstract: The conference is concerned with formal organisations in the late medieval and early modern period. The aim of the conference is a comparative discussion of the potential thematic strands which speak for the existence of formal organisation before the modern period. In particular, the conference uses theoretical discussions in sociology and aims to apply these to the historical sources.

Generously funded by the Fritz Thyssen Foundation.
